Amongst all the remakes, reboots, sequels and comic book adaptations hitting the screen these days in holly wood its rare for this movie buff to be excited about another installment of a franchise. But Kate Beckinsale returning in Underworld – Awakening is a welcomed sign some studio execs are still in touch with what the fanboy public wants to see. While the third Underworld film took a different road going the prequel route, and doing moderately well at the box office, it certainly didn’t have the punch the first two carried. Part 4 see’s the return of the British scarlet to the present day world of vampires & lycans, along with the same director that got the franchise off to such a prolific start. Only time will tell, but from watching the trailer one very positive word that comes to mind about this film.. PROMISING!
